I owe you an apology. Months ago, I promised you a podcast called Refill Your Mug and life got in the way. I still kept up on my writing, but setting up an actual podcast seemed terrifying, especially with trying to figure out the sound, the music, etc. etc. Then, I got sidetracked. Because, that’s what I do. What started off as a petty frustration about how often people overuse the word Busy became a new section I call Cozy Coffee Notes. When I write this feature, I’m not only writing it for you, but I’m writing it for me.
That’s when I had the idea. Instead of Refill Your Mug, I decided to go back over some of my articles and record them. Maybe add a little extra. Wednesday launches the Cozy Coffee Notes podcast. A hodge podge mix of the cozy and highlighted articles from Traveling Coffee Girl. It’s not just me reading them out loud. It’s expanding just a little more on my thoughts beyond on the moment.
I want to especially thank Daniel Austin Sperry for letting me use his music for my theme. Butter Yellow Lullaby Dance for Carol is one of my favorite songs and it always reminds me of the place that makes me feel the happiest.
